Why Can't You Shield Your Eyes

from Fuel / Phleg Camp Split Single by TheBandFormerlyKnownAsFuel

/

about

We had recorded the instruments for a cover of "Shield Your Eyes" by Jawbreaker from the World in Shreds vol 2 comp single, on some tape that had an old take of our song "Why Can't You See". When we played it back, we were surprised by the key and breaks aligning in places. Plus Jawbreaker had asked us not to cover the song, as they intended to re-do the song, which would end up on Bivouac. We felt a bit bad that these two tracks paled in comparison to the two Phleg Camp tracks, which are just great.
